    Advertorial - Picture #1

Recently, I noticed a lot of amusing graffiti on advertisements in the subway. Intrigued, I have decided to build a photo essay of social commentary made on advertising here in New York City. I like to call it "Advertorial: The Ultimate Blend of Advertising and Editorial." I like to think the photos speak for themselves.

Advertorial photo #1 is an ad for "Queer Eye For The Straight Girl."

    Advertorial - Picture #3

This Advertorial photo is entitled "The Bachelorette Fights Cancer." This is something of a departure from the other Advertorial photos since they involve graffiti on outdoor advertising. However, I like the idea of comparing lower third promotions with show content on the screen. This one was particularly amusing to me.

    Sundancer In The Dark

I recently attended the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. I didn't really want to see the movies. After all, the good ones actually make it to theatres and the bad ones just make you want to kill yourself after you trudged up a frozen mountain at Midnight to see them.

While at Sundance, I did attend the lovely Queer Lounge party and had a lot of fun. I tried to take some pictures of these two cute guys who were chatting us up earlier in the evening, but they hit the dance floor before I could whip out my camera. So, after a couple of action shot attempts that kept getting ruined by the lesbian they roped into the middle of their dance-wich, lesbian turns to me and says in a really snotty tone, "No more photos!" As if I was taking her picture! What a bitch. So, since she didn't want her photo taken, here it is:
